IV Jornadas de Música contemporáneas de Nerja
The 4th Nerja Contemporary Music Festival has established itself as a fundamental pillar of artistic creation in our municipality, becoming a stable space for expression, innovation, and encounter for musicians and composers.
About the event
Following the experience of the previous edition, which incorporated the spaces of La Térmica in Málaga, the festival continues to expand its reach beyond Nerja, reinforcing its cultural and regional dimension.
This year, the project takes another step forward with a program of distinctly international character, featuring the participation of European groups and a resident composer, enriching the creative and artistic dialogue. Musical creation remains the central focus of the program, structured through concerts, masterclasses—established since the previous edition—and an educational concert, designed as a tool to introduce contemporary music to young children. Furthermore, the festival
maintains its strong commitment to local talent through the “Nerja Contemporary” series, showcasing musicians from Nerja within a context of creativity and innovation
